Born, Frank G. Vetrone, in Flushing Queens, NY. Frankie became fascinated with radio hosts and disc jockeys from a very early age. It wasn’t just the potential thrill of being on the radio and broadcasting to huge amounts of listeners, it was also the technical side of the business. Frankie began analyzing the subtle nuances of the music and how the “good” jocks eased in and out of the songs at just the precise second necessary to make everything sound smooth and how they were able to incorporate their personalities even into the commercials and sound bites that sometimes only lasted seconds but that stuck in your mind the rest of the day.
He graduated from St. John’s University with a communications degree and a determination to follow his dream.
Frankie V has been in and around the radio and television business for over 25 years now both as a disc jockey and as a talk show host. He is also an actor and an improv performer and can come up with a new character and a new subject in milliseconds.
Frankie sees the world as it is now (a wild and scary place) and can speak with you very seriously in economic and political terms about it or he can make you fall on the floor with his impressions of people and situations that depict the utter stupidity and madness of the masses today.
